Tips

  • If you like Bon Iver, pizza and hipster chicks, you've found a home.
  • Hip, hip, hip in the Mission District. Hard to get in but easy on the wallet with great cocktails and wine list. -Tim Nugent, Top Chef Just Desserts
  • Hit up Beretta for great cocktails and Margherita pizza with burrata.
  • I would like to drink a lonsdale, and eat some radicchio, and a sausage/green onion pizza and finish with some mascarpone gelato with olive oil and sea salt.
  • This place serves at least until midnight!
  • Pizza, cocktails, late night: all familiar concepts, but put together seamlessly by a veteran team of Adriano Pagannini, Deborah Blum and Ruggero Galdadi and you get Beretta. [Eater 38 Member]
  • The best cocktails in the city. Great small Italian plates and pizzas. And it's open late.
  • This is where I had my 'Farewell SF' dinner. Meatballs, risotto, pizza, and incredible cocktails. Pro tip: reserve the downstairs for private party.
  • if you don't know what to order, ask your bartender. they'll do you you right. that goes triple if you're thinking about ordering anything and coke/tonic, or a shaken martini.
  • Try the Dolores Park Swizzle...;)
  • Saffron Risotto with Osso Bucco. Well, any of their risottos actually.
  • Sweet potato fries with parmesan sauce is next level innovation.
  • Everything is superb, especially the eggplant caponatina w/ burrata, fava bean bruschetta, gnocchi, dungeness crab arancini. But srsly-- the budino di cioccolato is the best dessert I've had in SF
  • Wait is usually insane here. Pro-tip: make a reservation and then go to Revolution Caf (a few blocks away) for a drinks while you wait.
  • Get the spicy marinara pizza with burrata and vegetarian sausage. Veg and non-veg alike will rejoice.
  • Make a meal of their multitude of small plates to go with their fantastic cocktails-with-attitude. -Monica Pope, Top Chef
  • You must get the ice cream with olive oil and salt. YES, the panna gellatto with olive oil. a.ma.zing.
  • Get the "air mail". It's am awesome drink
  • Awesome brunch. Get the egg pizza.
  • Ask for the Oaxacan Old Fashion. Reposado tequila, mezcal, agave, glory. (hat tip Jason Hreha)
