  • Beaker & Flask elevates the idea of "bar food" past burger-and-fries into territory more likely to offer skate wing, chicken livers, and maple-braised pork belly. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Go to Beaker and enjoy cocktails, beer, and rillette tots
  • Best Food in town period.
  • Everything was great. Grilled pork cheeks with baby octopus, mussels with sweetbreads, grilled alaskan spot prawns. I will def. be back.
  • Go to Beaker & Flask and get anything made with their selection of over 10 rye whiskeys (A Sazerac wouldn't hurt you)
  • If the Grounded for Life is on the cocktail menu, order it.
  • food = one of the best in the city: had the razor clams as an appy followed up with rabbit over white bean ragout; list of cocktails = trying too hard
  • For those who can stay up late, this is a great late night spot. Benny is one of the most talented young chefs we've every been lucky enough to know. His fried egg sandwich is wonderful. As is he.
  • 10pm not 11pm, just fyi
  • In my illustrious tenure as a cocktail sipper, I have encountered few drinks finer than Beaker & Flask's "This Side of Paradise" (pictured at left) and "Smokin' Aces" (right). Drink 'em good, y'hear!
  • Bartender Neil Kopplin's Imbue vermouth is dynamite in a Negroni. Make that an "Oregroni."0
  • Blow off some steam and try the "Anger Management" cocktail. Then learn how to make it at home with the book "Speakeasy Cocktails" created for iPads.

  • The only tip I have is don't miss this place. It's all kinds of good.
  • Try the panna cotta! It was of the best dishes I've ever had!
  • Every cocktail was delish. However, the Neal Cassidy stands out b/c it takes like a candle shop - and not in a bad way. Crazy.
  • Bring xtra toothpicks for the BBQ. It's a good thing.
  • If you like bourbon get the Elmer T Lee. Smooth and lovely.
  • Ian should have his own talk show, but he is also a fabulous server.
  • Best smoked trout deviled eggs ever!
