Foursquare Tips

  • Sample from among nine original house drinks and six historical incarnations of the martini. Drink this: The bright, tropical Jala-Pinserrano-infused honey syrup, pineapple-infused rum & lemon juice
  • The Manhattanite does things in your mouth, you guys. It does things in your mouth.
  • Del Pedro makes them strong and delicious.
  • This place reflects a mix of high-minded artistry and down-market charm in its list of eight craft cocktails, like the Hobo Julep, which reshapes the posh Kentucky Derby classic in everyman fashion...
  • Hobo Julep - Do it!
  • Terrible service, understaffed, poorly managed by former great barkeep Del Pedro who is too busy openly boozing it up with his posse to stay sober and manage or train staff.
  • Great romantic vibes. It's quiet, but usually moderately busy. Big fan of the Quinoa Old Fashioned.
  • These guys know how to make a REAL Old Fashioned. No cherry, no orange, just the classic. Real perfection. Bonus deviled eggs are just like my grandmas with a kick.
  • Get the Evening Falls. In fact, get three. You'll thank me in the morning. Lovely, balanced, not too sweet, a real cocktail but gentle enough for amateurs.
  • Get the brisket and biscuits. So delicious. You can't go wrong with the cocktails - they're all amazing.
  • Order the Cherry Orchard. Refreshingly simple, delicious, and rewarding. You won't regret.
  • Great cocktails and bar bites
  • Not worth the wait, the painfully slow service, the forgotten drink, the wrong drink, the bad drink, or the uncomfortable stools (STOOLS, ARG) for the good cocktail or two.
  • Order a drink. Drink it.
  • Don't be shy, ask for recommendations; the mixologists here are all super down to earth.
  • Tooker Alleys Del Pedro has been bartending since the '80s. This bar is a joint to call his own youll often find him behind the bar making Old-Fashioneds and edgy cocktails in vintage glassware.
  • Their jala-pia is a perfect blend of pineapple and spice. There's also a drink menu that is guaranteed to fulfill anyones taste.
  • A not-too-fancy cocktail bar with well-made specialty cocktails riffing on Americana.
  • The Whiskey Smash and Evening Falls cocktails are spot on.
  • Manhattans. Straight up. No lie, yo.
