Foursquare Tips

  • Okay, let me say it again, if Opus aint here, plan on mediocre service, but great beer selection 4/21/09
  • Be sure to ask Opus if you can try a Cherry Chocolate Stout fresh out of the tanks in their nano brewery.
  • Ask for Opus when you come here and tell him you are a friend of AskAsheville, give him a high 5 too, lol.
  • Manager Opus is always awesome, older lady got frustrated when I asked to taste a 2nd beer. Sorry..
  • Lauren and Craig are fabulous beertenders...they remember all the regulars names and preferences, are always willing to give you a sample when you want to try something new, and are quick with a smile
  • Try the Frog Level Tadpole.
  • Craig is the bartender!
  • This is a wonderful place to go if you want to get a craft beer with friends and hang out in a quiet place, away from the touristy bustle of the downtown location. Good variety of NC beers.
  • Southern Tier Unearthly on draft!
  • Great selection of local brews!
  • Muy buenas birras! Hay que probarlas todas
  • Closed on Sunday :(
  • Good spot in the south towns.
  • If you're interested in only a small amount try a half pour.
  • NO to Bell Ringer Ale
  • Cliff was the bartender when I was there. Very cool guy.
  • I agree with AskAsheville. Opus knows beer.
  • The downtown location has a wide range of Belgium beer selection. The south location is more universally geared with more types of beer.
