Tips

  • Absolutely great bar! It holds true to Cincinnati and has a German beer hall feel, but it's modern and beautiful in a renovated church space. From last week to this, the 6 of the ten beers incredible!
  • Pretty (former) church! First floor has long tables great for parties of up to 8. Tri-tip sandwich w pepper jack and chipotle sauce was amazing!!
  • Everything is great and incredibly cool place. A must see
  • Took a work group, had a great time. A bit loud, but terrific beer, beautiful furnishings, and the tri-tip made it very worthwhile! Park under Washington Park.
  • Beautiful church preserved. And another exemplary Cincinnati brewery.
  • Best beer in the house is For Pete's Sake, hands down. Beautifully restored old church.
  • Beers I've had (so far): Cherrywood Amber & Gavel Banger IPA - both outstanding. Atmosphere is delightful (if a bit loud - after all, it IS an old church); smoked tri-tip is almost as good as my own.
  • incredible building, great food, valet parking and kid friendly
  • The beer. The food. The space. Trifecta!
  • Amazing building, good staff, pretty good beer. Definitely recommend stopping by
  • The sampler is a great choice.
  • Try as many of the beers as you can. Skip the food.
  • The atmosphere, food, and beer are all great! We stayed at The Symphony Hotel, which is within walking distance of Tafts.
  • Some of the best bar food in OTR and plenty of options for flights
  • The history, the tater tots and the beer!
  • Good beer, good food, great service and atmosphere!
  • Beer isn't spectacular but it's good and worth a visit for the amazing space. Sit upstairs for the best view.
  • Good food. Good beer. Great service. Ask about the building restoration. Incredible.
  • Very cool environment (it used to be a church) with good beers! Ask for the samplers
  • Love the atmosphere at this place! It's connected with the bar underneath. Be sure to show early as it does get busy. Great service and staff is courteous.
