  • Same owners as Irish Heather, but in the heart of Blood Alley - pray tell - what kind of alley has a name like that? Salt boasts some delectable wines & tasting plates!
  • Amazing selection of wine... great place for socializing or for a casual business meeting - wine meeting in place of the usual coffee meeting. You'll have fun.

  • Nice space to bring lotsa friends for a gathering. Plus all the servers are friendly.
  • Try: Meyer Chardonnay, Pentage Gamey Rose, Orofino Pinot Noir, Ash Camembert (BC), Colsten Bassett Stilton (UK), Isle of Mull Cheddar (UK), fig/walnut bread, Similkameen honeycomb, and Basque olives.
  • Get a flight of wine paired to the meats/cheeses
  • Order the platter of the day - they will create a meat, bread and cheese platter for you. And then order a bottle of wine to start off your evening.
  • Casual wine tasting bar with a nice selection of tapas! You can pick and choose your own wine+tapas sets or pick ones already curated

  • Love the decor.. Come with good friend to sit and chat and enjoy each other and the food.. And the wine..
  • While the atmosphere needs a bit of work, the cheese and wine were excellent. Just don't expect to satisfy your hunger here. Head down the road to Tacofino (Taco bar) afterwards for fantastic tacos.
  • If you choose you meats/cheeses/spreads they will select appropriate wines for you and vice versa. Great date spot and fun experience.
