Tips

  • Best smelling bathrooms in NYC. Seriously. Its like a jasmine rainforest. Meatloaf sandwich is quite good as well. Don't eat in bathroom.
  • the old fashioned here is the truth. stop looking at your phone and order it.
  • Great cocktails, excellent, hearty food in a romantic, pared down setting. It's a major win for the area. Make sure to try the meatloaf sandwich, the duck, the Old Fashioned. [Eater 38 Member]
  • the god damn meat loaf sandwich
  • 'Grilled' Ceviche? done. Duck, medium? done. this is a good, good meal.
  • With a beautiful dark interior, tin ceilings, and true wood bar, it didn't take much to get Rye ready to serve as a Chicago speakeasy in season 1 of HBO's Boardwalk Empire.
  • $6 for a generous basket of beautiful fried to-order cinnamon-y cake doughnuts with hot caramel dipping sauce. Bling.
  • The default rye for an old fashioned is old overholt -- a little spicy, a little sweet. A nice block of ice to keep it cold.
  • good place to enjoy a cocktail while you wait for maison premiere to text.
  • Ask for Maggie, she is the best server. Oh and Bloody's with Sriracha...do I say more?
  • Knock three times on the ceiling if you want me. Oh and they made a badass duck.
  • Quite appropriately, Ryes old fashioned is impeccable. - Inspector
  • my favorite place for an old fashioned
  • Love the meatloaf sandwich.
  • I suggest the steak with spinach. It was amazing.
  • braised short rib sandwich!
  • Oldie and a loaf Sandy
  • They know how to make some of the best cocktails in the city!
  • Try one of the best brunches in the neighborhood, baking fluffy Buttermilk Biscuits, whipping up hearty omelettes and constructing the most delicious salad of all time: the House Smoked Salmon.
  • Had the infamous old fashioned, endive and pear salad, and the ravioli. It was a solid meal. Next time I'll have to try the meatloaf sandwich. Side note:how do they get the bathrooms to smell so good?
