Tips

  • If you like sopressata, and things a bit spicy, try the 'fellini' on pizza bianca bread. Extra points, go Monday, get a FREE BEER. The sandwiches are really generous in size, so you can split it!
  • don't you forget about me is definately the puffys theme song
  • Alidoro sandwiches - best in town
  • Puffy's has a rich history and is a well kept secret (until now, sorry). Expect to find incognito Hollywood royalty settling their nerves before a meeting with Harvey Weinstein.
  • Sandwich was large and very filling, but i wasn't a fan of their bread. On Mondays, lunch comes with a free beer, that was a nice surprise.
  • $5 beer, wine AND well drinks happy hour from 4pm-8pm is one of the best deals in town!
  • Awesome lunch spot - all the sandwiches are great!
  • Classic New York City tavern serving surprisingly good Italian sandwiches during lunch try the Gladiatore or the Sofia. Add a beer for $3 or $4 and enjoy lunch all the more!
  • darts, internet jbox, great bartenders. what's not to love? oh, right - no Brooklyn Lager
  • Little known fact: Puffy's has amazing Italian sandwiches at lunch
  • tip your bartender
  • Nice vibe. Neighborhood
  • Legendary institution. It was here before Tribeca was Tribeca. It will still be here after the apocalypse.
  • Great service - not a great selection
  • You'll break your teeth on that bread. Stick with the liquor.
  • The A/C wasn't working and it was over 90 outside. Sweaty!
  • This place has charming bar staff and a wrecked dart board in the back. I used to enjoy their sandwiches in an earlier more carb-enthusiastic life. Most people come for a quick beer (or 7) at lunch.
  • Friendly bar to hangout and have cool beers
  • Cool little neighborhood bar with great drink prices, comparatively speaking in terms of other Tribeca watering holes.
  • Not a lot of space but very not a lot of space but very welcoming environment.
