Foursquare Tips

  • This SOMA bar does Taco Tuesdays about as well as you can do them: with $2 carnitas tacos and $2 beers. The special runs pretty much all day, and they've got a sun-stroked back patio.
  • Mars Bar and Restaurant <3
  • $2 tacos and Tacates on Tuesdays till 9 pm
  • Innovative drinks and with the 50% Foursquare discount, totally worth it!
  • Best bartenders and happy hour
  • Hit up the heated outdoor patio after work and snag $3 bottle beer and 1/2 price Buffalo Wings on Mondays, $2 Tecates and Tacos on Tuesdays, and cheap pizza and beer on Wednesdays.
  • Mars Bar, an SF SOMA district staple, brings live DJs and drink specials starting every Sunday from noon until 4pm. No matter the temperature, guests can dine indoors or out on their heated patio.
  • The real draw is the tropical patio, where a legit tiki bar kicks into actions when the patio fills up. We're also fans of the bar inside, where regulars and locals make up a refreshing non-scene.
  • They allow dogs in the back patio area.
  • Make sure to sit at the patio area on a nice day
  • Pulled pork sandwich with cole slaw.
  • One time I hired a monkey to take notes for me in class. When I told my mom about it she said, "I told you ta never trust a monkey!" Get the burger.
  • Have an Anchor Steam, because you are in San Francisco dangit!
  • Dog friendly patio =)
  • Get a burger out back on Sundays. Food is served from 3pm on.
  • Mars has permanent ice caps at both poles, and they are made of mostly carbon dioxide, which makes dry ice, so this place is pretty cool.
  • recession buster :: Mini pulled pork sandwich with a side of fries for $4.50
  • The burgers are really flipping good
  • Its a cool techie friendly lounge and bar!
  • Good place for drinks after work. Check out the art of the walls that change with your camera flash
