Foursquare Tips

  • New bar from the team behind Union Hall and The Bell House. There's a pretty great tap selection, go for the lovely seating area towards the back.
  • New spot, awesome vibe but staff still working out the kinks. Little pricey too. Burger $10 no sides. Well, a pickle...but that's not a side. Back space is rad and has the Union Hall library vibe.
  • Helmed by the crew behind The Bell House and Union Hall, the 2,300-square-ft space boasts a cheerful fireplace located just across from a robust bar serving up craft beer, whiskey, cocktails and wine.
  • friendly bartender, neighborhood characters, welcoming atmosphere, and good cocktail and beer selection.
  • Don't order the nachos
  • Bartender says no kids after 6p. Lame.
  • A quirky yet dignified ambience, plenty of couches for lounging and a menu that includes disco fries: Wed expect nothing less from the proprietors of winter-drinking standby Union Hall.
  • Cool ambiance with amazing poutine and good beer list. They even have a stuffed ram and nice cozy couches and fireplace in the back
  • Back room is great for hosting a private party or lounging on a cold day.
  • Come here for the fun and cozy layout and drinks. Go elsewhere for food.
  • Underwhelmed by the chicken sandwich. Disappointed by the burger. Good slaw though.
  • I really love this space! Intimate booths and comfy couches - this is my kind of bar. However, I was disappointed that they had no non-dairy creamer for coffee. So, my visit was cut short.
  • mulled wine on a snowy day or a great Bloody Mary
  • If Was Anderson launched a bar.
  • The coziest neighborhood bar you ever did see. Plenty of beer on tap and couches in the back where you'll wanna take a nap.
  • Really cozy and nice beer selection
  • Tufted couches, fries, cozy booths, space to mingle, faux-old timey vibe (antelope horns and bearded portraits on the walls). Great for groups. Right off the f/g train.
  • Foursquare *really* needs something between a flat face and a heart. That's what Fawkner is. Nothing special, but overall enjoyable as a chill spot to chat over a drink and some average bar food.
  • Disco Fries!!!
  • Brooklyn trivia is at its finest at Fawkner. Every Tuesday you can play for a chance to win some amazing prizes if you and your team is smart enough. Free to play. Starts at 8pm
