Foursquare Tips

  • Fantastic new venue. I liked everything. Cocktails, wine, food - the Kama Tuna Jaw Bone OMG! More and more cool places in the west. 2 thumbs up!
  • Chic and relaxed craft cocktail bar, seems to attract a lot of expats. Enjoyed the duck liver snack.
  • Sunday Monday clams and beer
  • Yay for bacon jam!
  • As a cocktail have "Banana & Fig Od Fashioned"
  • It has not been as good as before, service has been a bit slow but crews are very nice. Hope they can be the same as what they were when they started. A lot of things was not in the menu too.
  • Delicious seafood. Only critique was the loud and obnoxious music during dinner. I wanted to have a good time with food. Not a club with my fish dinner.
  • The Nest now has a rival in the form of its own sister venue The Cannery. The Canada-centric concept has become a fast favourite, soaking up customers in the west of the city. Sibling rivalry? You bet
  • The spicy fried pig ears are amazing bar bites. Everything we had there was awesome. Vibe's good in the restaurant with the golden ceiling. LOL
  • Food beyond expectations.
  • Appropriate for all kinds of situations and meet ups - Great food and drinks! Friendly Canadian owner too!
  • Went in group of 11, service was attentive and fast, all food very good except the sauce on the rib and tuna. The octopus is a must!
  • Lively and hip atmosphere with nice menu items for both drinks and dinner. Really like the bone marrow with beef tartar, the gazpacho was surprising great and the steak was yummy as well.
  • Seafood, steak, cocktail
  • Great concept , food is interesting as well as cocktails. Nice atmosphere
  • Good sirloin steak, grilled octopus, gazpacho, beef tartare and bone marrow
  • Taco Tuesday =
  • Fresh seafood, good steaks! Highly recommended octopus and oysters Romantic and fancy atmosphere, cocktails I think best in SH 10/10
  • Cocktails and wine!
  • Same group behind The Nest. Recommend the sardines and fish and chips. Pig ears are a great nibble too. Can't wait to try their meats from the pit!
