Tips
- Fantastic drinks. So many cocktails to choose from. Ask the bartender Emanuel for a recommendation
- Amazing Cuban food and libations. Worth the wait for a reservation. Where will you send your postcard?
- So fancy. So great. So expensive. The mini daiquiri is a nice touch.
- Easily one of the best bars in the city.
- The soul sister cocktail is just amazing - savory, sweet and everything in between. A must try.
- The cocktail menu here is unparalleled! Spend a few minutes working thru the menu and be sure to try a few. I have never been disappointed with the drinks here.
- Hands down one of the best cocktail bars in the world! Live jazz on Sunday nights.
- Perfect date spot. Cuisine is as good as the cocktail drinks. The hanger steak was divine. Juicy steak accompanied by rice and beans with a hint of lemon on every bite.
- Awesome lowkey spot. Open after 5pm so plan for it . The bartenders are all dressed for the part and the drinks are good. Order the crispy cuban fries for starters.
- Interior is classy. Robin Hood coctail - too spicy, impossible to drink. Old Fashioned Wiz Kid - fine (feedback from experienced old fashioned lover :)
- Has a post-Cuba during prohibition theme. A lot of the hits are under punches, with options like the Nacional a blend of Rum, French Bitters, apricot, banana, pineapple, lime, and yuzu.
- This place reminds me of the Tonga Room at the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco. Lots of charm, personality and delicious cocktails. Definitely on the pricey side.
- Guerilla war is a genius cocktail.
- Great atmosphere and drinks
- BlackTail NYC step back into the devil-may-care early days of aviation. A time when luxurious flying boats delivered the thirsty into the embrace of tropical sunshine, of decadent cocktails of Cuba.
- Go to cocktail spot, great appetizers and seasonal menus
- Fantastic service and the sloppy joe empanadas are great! All cocktails are great but not quite as good as Dead Rabbit.
- The Rum & Ginger and the The Gulf Stream
- Whizz Kid: excellent. Brigadier: good but not great (though Emily liked it).
- The live music and sitting near the bar! They give you a mini daiquiri while you decide on which cocktail to enjoy
