Tips

  • Atomic in the name comes from the radium content in the booze....De'lish!
  • Vegas' oldest freestanding bar w/ its original neon sign. Named for the "Atomic Cocktails" the first patrons sipped on the roof while watching mushroom clouds explode from the nearby Nevada Test Site.
  • Great beer selection. Come back often to see the rotating taps.
  • This place is awesome! Great selection service and atmosphere!
  • Really good beer and liquor selection.
  • Great option downtown! I wouldn't put it in the top cocktails I've had, but much better than most of the atrocities in big plastic tubes that flow in Vegas. Good mix of locals and non-bro travelers.
  • There was a famous cover photo of Time taken from the roof here while people watched nuclear bomb tests. Now they have the best beer selection in the city.
  • Best Sour Beer selection in town! Ask Ruth for off the menu and secret ales! #Cheers
  • Absinthe ritual? Check.
  • Beer selection is awesome...its the bomb!
  • if your dressed to nice you won't get in. no joke. also this was the first place in las Vegas to acquire a liquor license.
  • one of the few places to buy hard liquor in downtown but the place is hard core. it is a bar and a liquor store. the bartender has to buzz you in the front door.
  • Good beers and friendly mix of people, also plenty of history
  • Right off Fremont St, the oldest free-standing bar in LV. Rotating taps, intense mix drinks & a huge working neon sign make this place a must-try. Atomic bomb testing used to be viewed from the roof.

  • Love the Smoked Melon.
  • I can do that if you
  • Good beer selection, great conversations, and awesome staff!
  • Extensive beer list, decent cocktails, lot's of outdoor patio seating. Kinda plain decor, good music, nice bar tenders.
  • Not quite the dive you might expect. Actually a high end craft beer and cocktail bar with dive-ish trappings. I had a Manhattan like a bougie a-hole and it was terrific.
