  • A small and dark (almost dive-like) Italian restaurant in the South End that has big portions of kick-ass food for a lot less than most of the other restaurants in the neighborhoo
  • Give C4 a hug.
  • Italian nachos are awesome with ricotta cheese and short rib. Make sure you at least get a side order of meatballs because they are to die for!
  • In a neighborhood crowded with posh, uppity eateries, Anchovies is a welcome change of pace. Straight up, authentic Italian cuisine at a reasonable price.
  • Nothing fancy, but a great place to grab some comfort food Italian, reasonably priced bottles of wine & be in a homey atmosphere. The portions are big too. Great little South End spot.
  • The Ricciardi is better than any dish you will ever find in the north end.
  • Great drinks at the bar
  • free beer with the purchase of pizza and mussles
  • Anchovies is the best place in Boston!
  • Do yourselves a favor and try the nachos!

  • Strong drinks. Dark corners. Fun place always.
  • This food will make you miss your mama. Italian style with a home cooked feel that will never leave you hungry. This place is tiny and gets packed quick, so get there early.
  • There is a "jackelope" head on the wall. Come on, it doesn't get better. Get food here, it's really good.
