Foursquare Tips

  • A few weeks ago, pit master Gary Wiviott threw a special dinner for the restaurant he consults for, Barn & Company. On the menu: lamb ribs. The reaction to those lamb ribs: ecstasy.
  • The Hubbard Inn guys stuck with chef Bob Zrenner for their new barbecue spot. Theyve also brought in author Gary Wiviott to make sure they get the pulled pork, brisket, smoked chicken and ribs right.
  • Thanks Gary for the sauce!
  • This place is terrible. Come here if you want to get your phone, wallet or any personal items stolen. Ridiculous amount of thefts happen here weekly.
  • Pulled Pork Nachos are Noms
  • The Chicken Wings are dope...not fried but smoked..
  • Barbeque sauce needs serious work
  • The corn bread is great- neither too dense nor too sweet. Top it with the butter and it's *almost* like dessert.
  • This place is alright. Fairly cheap drinks but mediocre food. The chicken chili tasted like straight up pepper, making it in edible but the Mac and cheese was good. The blaring country was annoying.
  • Watered down drinks...blech. And why aren't there cocktail servers at night? Or maybe there are...wouldn't know because no one came to my table during the 3 hours I was there. Cool pig photos though.
  • Thursdays they have 14.99 all you can eat baby back ribs... some times have lamb ribs ! it taste great !!
  • Not a large selection, but of the 3 sauces, the Carolina Mustard is the best. Try it on your pulled pork.
  • We come for the BBQ which is hit or miss. Not sure if it's who's cooking that night or timing of fresh Q. On par, never a bad time, but would love consistency.
  • Terrible service. And the play woman's college basketball on the tvs. Enough said.
  • Sofa king amazing headqtrs... wings are killlller! Also love the nachos, corn bread, mac and cheese and pulled pork!
  • Fun BBQ and sports bar joint. Helpful and friendly wait staff!
  • Who puts a featured outdoor eating area next to the train tracks? Unless you're deaf and speak in sign language, don't waste your time going here.
  • This place is awesome!
  • The star of the bar menu, the grilled cheese ($7), teams salty Gruyere with juicy blueberry jam and slightly peppery watercress.
  • These are my favorite fried pickles in Chicago right now: a tongue-tantalizing balance of moisture and crunch, with tang and creaminess in every bite.
