  • Bar Centrale is almost ostentatious in its understatement. The black-and-white photographs on the walls are of Joes friends, & musicians he likes. Until recently, there wasnt even a cocktail list.
  • Professional Broadway's house speakeasy. - Andy Cohen, Watch What Happens Live!
  • The best SideCar in NYC hands down
  • Get away from the tourists. Stop by before or after a show, this cozy, classy joint never disappoints. We squeezed in without a reso on a Friday night and ordered a bottle of champagne with dinner.
  • Up a flight of steps and behind a nondescript townhouse door in midtown, Bar Centrale feels a world away from the hustle and bustle of the Theater District. Its glamorous, but not showy.
  • If you're a New Yorker looking for that "I'm in New York as a tourist" experience, then this is the place for you!
  • Kind of a dump. Dirty glasses. They don't seem to work very hard.
  • Best Fish Taco in NYC
  • Great service And excellent drinks
  • Critics' Pick winner of The Village Voice Best of NYC 2012 Best After-Theater Hangout!
  • The guacamole rocks.
  • The guacamole is amazing!
  • Grab a post-show drink away from Time Square tourists at this hidden gem. If you're lucky you may even spot Broadway's Elite.
  • love the hidden nature of the place and their great wine list.
  • Not the place to start a Steak Tarte fight. Trust me.
  • one word: sidecar. two words: side car. ?!
  • Walked up and down the block 5 times def worth it!!!!
  • sip wine in the most elegant bar in the theater district. Reservations a must.
  • One of the most atmospheric bars in the city. Expensive but great service and very Broadway
  • Speakeasy vibe that make you not want to write a review like this.
