  • A romantic little restaurant with excellent appetizers, ambience and location.
  • Bourbon caramel popcorn with bacon salt. Do it.
  • The oysters are expensive, so get drunk enough to order them and jut regret the bill come morning.
  • Those who have been lucky enough to discover this neighborhood bar inevitably walk out fantasizing that it was their neighborhood bar.
  • Everyone was so friendly with our toddler and the food was lovely.
  • Excellent wine knowledge, service fantastic and food flavourful. What more can you ask for? Recommend highly.
  • We stopped in for dessert, our cocktails were great and paired nicely with their recommended cheese.
  • Cute place, bring a date. Friendly and welcoming staff eager to please
  • Cathy Whims, chef of Nostrana, eats here on her nights off. She loves the Agnolotti of foie gras.
  • The best place to eat and drink at Bar Avignon is perched at the bar, where you'll get a ringside view of the kitchen.
  • Agnolotti foie gras...OMG
  • Try the awesome Amaro flight.
  • Phenomenal foie gras agnolotti with pears. The liquified foie bursts in your mouth. Just amazing...
  • Best roast chicken in town? I think so.
  • great mussels, good service. can get full quickly, especially outdoors in nice weather.
  • A prost: to witchcraft.
  • This is what every cliched European wine bar strives to be, complete with sprawling wine list, locally inspired (and constantly rotating) menu, and killer mussels. [Eater 38 Member]
  • Try the Pear Brandy Sidecar.
  • Oysters $1ea. 4-6. M-F
  • Try the Bar Avignon Lemon Drop. There's a reason it's their signature drink. The touch of lavender-infused honey rounds out the edges for the perfect balance of sweet and tart. Just. try. it. Really.
