Tips

  • The only place in New York to get Bahn Mi. Not literally, of course, but the sandwiches here are so far ahead of others sharing the samename that it's not really fair to call them both Bahn Mi. Get
  • Get there "early" before they run out of bread. But if they do, ask if they will be gearing up for another round of banh mi making. If so, you can reserve a sandwich for later.
  • Great Vietnamese sandwichs
  • Tasty tasty cheeeaappp Bahn Mi, also for some reason they sell jewelry in the front.
  • Get the Banh Mi. It's a Vietnamese sandwich. If you've never had it, go there and try it. Everybody that ends up trying this place usually makes it regular stop for food.
  • Don't get it twisted, now. Slowly exit and go to the confusingly similarly-named Saigon Vietnamese Sandwich Deli around the corner. The difference is astronomical.
  • Banh Mi Ga (Chicken), extra extra extra spicy!
  • Dom says eat the Banh Mi, you won't regret it.
  • Get the classic #1. Fragrant, sweetly caramelized, slow-cooked pork is stuffed into a hot, crusty baguette along with fiery chilies, cool cucumber, shredded daikon and a fistful of cilantro.
  • Come here for NYC's best bargain on cheap, flavorful Vietnamese sandwiches. Get the Banh Mi Saigon (pork) sandwich - $3.57 for a foot-long.
  • Kuma Inn chef King Phojanakong says: "You've tried the rest, now try the best."
  • Pork is a bit tough, but tasty. I like the chicken bahn mi.
  • Had the chicken curry & BBQ pork bahn mi... Pretty good... Not the best I've had, but decent.
  • A must stop for a Banh Mi lover.
  • My favorite place for banh mi in the area. Maybe even the best in the city.
  • Get the classic #4. Everything else is gringo.
  • BBQ Pork sandwich is where its at for $3.75!
  • Ok. Just clarified with the owner. Expected to move at the end of may (permanently) but will have the same phone number.
  • $5 lunch, so good. If you've never had a bahn mi, in for a treat. Spicy #2.
  • Spicy bbq pork bahn mi: nothing else needs to be said.
