  • Don't bother waiting in line at Georgetown Cupcake, the locals know that B&W serves the best cupcakes in town! Try the Texas Sheetcake, Red Velvet or Smurfette!
  • The name says it all. On the baked side: vegan pies, cookies and fruit-filled cupcakes in easy-to-peel-back wax paper. On the wired side: coffee from quality brands like Stumptown and Counter Culture.

  • Get an ice cream sandwich, go to the waterfront, eat it. Life complete.

  • Almost a third of Baked & Wired's pie menu is vegan; the "hippie crack" is house-made granola mixed with dried fruit and honey.
  • For dessert, their cupcakes are an absolute must.

  • We love this cute little spot for delicious snacks and organic coffee and/or tea.
  • Georgetown Cupcake sucks. This place is much, much better.
  • The most delicious bakery in the city- order a soccer mom bar or a bee sting cookie. Be sure to take a photo on the pink bike on your way out, its always parked outside.
  • I am from Seattle, so when I moved to DC I had to find and try every coffee shop, and sadly none compared. Then I found Baked and I can stay in DC. Try the iced latte...soooo good.
  • On Fridays, they give away a GIANT cupcake at 3pm. Get there before then to enter the drawing for a treat that is bigger than your head. :D
  • Its si nice and Very delicious.
  • Right across the street from my office. I love the atmosphere, the people and the sweets. Oh yeah they have good Chai "stuff". The dirty chai is my favorite.
  • Known to tourists for their baked goods, the 'Wired' side of the cafe shouldn't be ignored -- great coffee, quiche, and savory biscuits in the mornings.
  • I love cupcakes served with a side of 'tude

  • Try the iced coffee. It is cold-brewed deliciousness. You barely need any sweetener. But if you want some, use the sugar syrup. So much better than regular sugar in cold drinks!
