Tips

  • The pancakes are good but massive. You've been warned.
  • Be the waitress in this awesome hipster place. You can even enjoy some of Minneapolis's own spy house coffee there as well!
  • Come in and grab a milkshake with me on Monday's while I play iron maiden. Maiden Milkshake Mondays \m/
  • This place lives up to its name! Horrible, slow, rude service
  • Fun atmosphere, wi-fi and good food. Its a triple yum.
  • I know this place is called 'The Bad Waitress' but being rude isn't actually a part of their schtick. But they do it really well.
  • always great food, nice atmosphere, nice and tidy. Cool retro look
  • They always have awesome seasonal specials. This morning I had a mango pancake with berry sauce. Delicious! The waitresses and cooks rock!!! I love coming here :)
  • Lots of vegetarian options, try their homemade vegan sausage.
  • good waitresses, huge pancakes (order one, you'll never eat 2)
  • Their Eggs Benedict is the best in the city. Rosemary hollendaise sauce = nuff said.
  • Love the pancakes. Great in the summer when the huge windows onto Nicollet are open. It's like sidewalk seating, but better!
  • A little place right off the freeway. Fill out your own order & give to cashier. Great gourmet food for cheap!
  • The Tuna Melt is amazing. There's some spice in there that makes it taste like nothing else!
  • Apple cinnamon French toast at the Bad Waitress is wicked good - love the carbon-y / caramelized / cooked down nature of it.
  • Death Valley Veggie Wrap is a must. Don't forget the waitresses don't come to you and make sure you look at the cool, old posters decorating the walls. Sip on a Tokyo Rose and give the place a chance!
  • Pancakes have certain curative powers: to quell hunger, to soothe a broken heart over a gossipy brunch, and to help soak up the toxins from a legendary evening.
  • For me, the scrambles are where it's at. You really can't go wrong there. #15 is a personal favorite. A close second is #17 sans Turkey.
  • #13 w/ bacon, ham & onion w/ white cheddar cheese (aka Tempest)
  • Vegan Sloppy Joe's are delicious! (even though they dont fit in the bun)
