Foursquare Tips

  • Hands down the BEST bbq place n the city.
  • Catfish PO' Boy w/Chicken Smoked Rice.
  • Also a good place to have a bourbon on a Monday evening.
  • Lunch Meeting!
  • The collard greens are amazing, the mac and cheese.. amazing. Coleslaw.. amazing. Everything here is amazing. That's all.
  • Bring a big crew. There is a secret room!
  • Amazing place! Home style cooking taken to another level! Try the suicide kings shrimp appetizer and the brisket is a must. The specialty cocktails are also amazing and the cooks are super sociable.
  • Shrimp PO' Boy w/mixed fries, coleslaw and a Jamaican Me Crazy cocktail.
  • Ribs, Beef Ribs, Wille Burger, Baked beans,
  • I have yet to find something here that isn't delicious. Hands down the best BBQ I've ever had.
  • Everything. Seriously.
  • great memphis ribs
  • Platters are too much food but the mashed potatoes are a must try
  • Blackened catfish was really good! Smoked chicken was pretty good but nothing special. Pre-made chicken at Fresh Grocer tasted better :P
  • Pulled pork platter! Baked beans are awesome. Huge portions
  • Great food and bartenders! Cozy and warm inside if you want to forget it's winter for a bit.
  • Come for happy hour from 4-6 during the week and 3-5 on the weekends. They have a great selection of beers on tap. And their pulled pork is my favorite in all of Philly!
  • Try all the BBQ sauces at your table with your meal!
  • The Memphis ribs and the smoked chicken are two very good choices. The greens, sauted okra and mashed sweet potatoes are also no brainers. However, the pork and beans weren't as good as we expected.
  • Come for lunch as the prices are slashed in half. I had the razorvack which is 1/3 baby back ribs and pulled pork w/one side. A beer will make the meal complete.
