Foursquare Tips

  • Good food bad service and rude hostesses.
  • Simple Greek food done right. Don't come here without trying the fresh fish by the pound. We recommend the Tsipoura, Lavraki, and Fagri.
  • #FabuLIST #DubiDO tasty authentic Greek. Get the Haloumi, Greek salad, and Bifteki Souvlaki. I'm sure everything here is good though! And loved the bread basket.
  • This restaurant is so amazing. Must get the cuddlefish appetizer!
  • Fried Kefalograviera cheese as an appetizer - heaven!
  • Very very beautiful .....
  • Octopus and a glass of Chardonnay is the best way to waste a Friday afternoon!
  • Awesome fresh upscale Greek. All the fish is superb (especially the Char) but beware of market prices. Ask the price per lb. It's ok. Must try the zucchini chips. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu)
  • Their halloumi (grilled sheep milk cheese) is delicious!
  • Amazing Greek food is not an easy thing to come by, but from your first moments in Avra you will know you found a winner. The charcoal-grilled octopus was excellent, and the fig ice cream for dessert
  • The octopus app is tops!
  • Great brunch spot!
  • Calamari stuffed with 4 cheeses - delicious!
  • Don't miss the beets and the htipiti!
  • Enjoy fresh fish by the pound and order family style!
  • Hortas (steamed wild greens) and a well prepared peice of fresh fish makes for a perfect light meal. I will definitely be coming back
  • Yes I liked very much .. Everything is excellent .
  • Great food but worst service ever.
  • Unbeatable Greek food, perfectly cooked. All hits, no misses, on this menu. Love the sepia & the simple Greek salad. (Ps: Unrelated to Avra in Mykonos! :-) )
  • Great for business lunches. Start with fried calamari and spanakopita. I recommend the Arctic Char for entre. Delicious!
