This location is the original Austin Java shop. It's comfortable and has all of the necessities: great house coffee (as well as a variety of blended drinks), free Wi Fi, plenty of outlets, a nice waitstaff, and some sweeter pick-me-ups like cupcakes. On weekdays, it's packed with students and other workers, as well as groups of friends grabbing coffees.

  • Order the iced mocha and you won't be disappointed!
  • 2 for 1 burgers on Monday after 4pm!
  • Pretty average. Good coffee but just OK food. Hashbrowns (taters) aren't crispy. I prefer crispy hashbrowns.
  • try the coffee
  • Ordering the loose leaf salad will balance out any guilt you feel from eating one of their delicious cupcakes, courtesy of Sugar Mama bakery.
  • Wonderful turkey burgers!
  • Blackened tuna steak sandwich with caesar side salad is a must
  • All new menu & specials!!! 1/2 off apps on Weds aft 11am AND 2-for-1 burgers on Mons after 5pm.
  • Dumbass name, solid food, brilliant cappuccino.
  • shade and outlets outside = wins my business #smallthings
  • Veggie chorizo rocks.
  • Four words: African Spicy Peanut Soup. You won't be sorry.
  • Lots of ppl in SUV's trying to fit in small parking can make for a headache.
  • They'll make your Saturday morning Mimosa with apple juice!
  • This place does eggs really well. Get something with eggs in it.
  • The GoGirls home during SXSW.
  • The Spicy African Peanut soup is the best!!!
  • I'm in love with the Vietnamese Iced Coffee. Just don't make the same mistake as me and get 6 shots in your drink. You won't sleep for days.
  • Get the creamy chicken penne pasta. But ask them to make it spicy - it rocks.
