  • Excellent park if you need an afternoon off from day-drinking. Don't miss Bird Island; it really lives up to the name.
  • A beautiful urban park with a nice jogging trail, many gorgeous live oaks, and safe and clean playgrounds for the children.
  • Run around the loop, but watch for roots!
  • This park is filled with graceful Spanish Oaks and has open spaces perfect for all sorts of recreational activities with buddies. How about a picnic, starring home made Becherovka cocktails?

  • Brown bag your lunch and head to one of the parks many benches to enjoy the scenic views. Fall and winter are great times for bird watching. People watching good year round.
  • Relaxing place to read or exercise. Every now and then there will be a couple of idiots riding their bikes the wrong way.
