Hands down one of the best bars in LA. Bartenders are friendly and make great, strong drinks. Prices are decent as well. The DJ's are great and if you on the weekends you will leave satisfied with a night of dancing to great music.

Tips

  • Pisco sour is awesome!
  • More douchebags than anywhere downtown.
  • ask for Pisco Sour the bartenders hate making it!!!
  • Good music. Good drinks. Good times! The ambience inside is dark so get ready to use your night vision goggles!
  • No name on the door. Must be in the know. Cool old style downtown bar.
  • Everyone in Dtown says this is a douche bag bar, but I love it. Wait a minute... Does that make me a d-bag??
  • Nice, chill little spot. The Gin Gin Mule's are awesome. Bartenders are super friendly with great service!
  • Try the Pisco Sour
  • Hollywood feel without the traffic to get there. Could have better lighting though.
  • Loud, Fun, always a party, the Association anchors the new main & 6th Revitalization in Downtown LA, Classic Drinks are poured by a knowlegable staff, bar boasts a replica door of 10 Downing Street!
  • Try the Hemmingway it tastes like shit!!! Lol
  • Kyle makes some incredibly tasty drinks. Tell him what you like and ask him to concoct something for you!
  • Let Kyle take care of you mon, thurs, fri, sat
  • The association is my favorite spot in downtown LA. If you're having trouble getting a drink, maybe you're in the wrong bar. Bridge and tunnel crowd go somewhere else.
  • This bar is completely overrated. Why? It will take forever to get your drink. Let me repeat: FOREVER. However: great bar to go to if you go super early. All drinks are excellent. Get the Pis
  • Still my favorite downtown bar.
  • The stairwell smells like piss.
  • Try everything on the specialty cocktail menu at least once. (Start with the French 75.) (Yes, even if you don't usually like gin.)
  • Decent beers by the can/bottle dont cost an arm and leg...
  • Can't go wrong with good drinks and great dance music
