Tips
- It's the strange and frightening new Brooklyn where you pay $12 for a tomato tartine. With that said, it's the most delicious tomatoes-and-goat-cheese on a slab of bread you'll have in your life.
- Officially declaring Alameda's burger as the best in NYC. Complete package that results in perfection.
- Beautiful new spot by the chef of Brooklyn Star. Oysters are a must! Try the Phil Collins cocktail. Foie gras sandwich is wonderful but tiny for $17. Go for the cheeseburger.
- The type of bar that makes you want to sit and drink for hours uninterrupted. Get the pimento fries.
- great selection of brews, but hard to pass up on an ice cold coors original stubby (grab some pimento cheese fries to accompany).
- The cheeseburger is on par with or surpasses Shake Shack.
- The old bay wings are what's up. Coming from a true Marylander.
- Order a few oysters, a cheeseburger and an old fashioned.
- everything is awesome and amazing and I love it here.
- Order the pimento cheese fries. Do not order the burger.
- Un poco caro pero hay happyhours de coctails.Pide un Phil Collins
- The best neighborhood bar. Love, someone who doesn't even live in Greenpoint
- Beautiful bar, great service. Daily specials are fresh and phenomenal. For cocktails, the Roberto Burns (smokey mezcal). Random fact: they also sell cigarettes...
- Burgers are DOPE! must try with their fries! cocktails very good too
- There is no air conditioning inside, but the decor makes it worth your while. If the crowd is exuding too much body heat, try the tables outside. Perfect for a date &/or catching up with friends.
- Alameda is one of the most beautiful bars Ive ever been to. Its not cheap but has a round huge cozy bar that makes you feel like youre in a hotel.
- Cocktails. Oysters.
- The cool horseshoe-shaped bar and refined but welcoming atmosphere is what keeps me coming back. Also fun to sit outside in the summer. Menu is rather short, visit for drinks.
- The cheeseburger is incredible.
- Remains one of my favorite bar/restaurant setups. Friendly staff, good burger, great people watching
