Tips

  • Great experience. If someone with you won't cross, don't pay at the checkpoint. You only need tickets to cross the bridge, not to walk around the area.
  • Truly magnificent and totally worth a visit. Extremely peaceful on a calm, lesser windy day. (Only a trip for sensible footwear too!)
  • Views are amazing
  • My worst fear overcame:-)
  • Scenic view and a rope bridge to cross
  • Make sure and have your your guide buy your tickets! You save 50p:) Oh and no lines:)
  • Worth every visit
  • Be brave! This bridge is totally safe... Just try not to look down.
  • Prepare to layer up-it's freezing out there. Advise on the harsh winds. Absolutely gorgeous if you can catch this on a clear day...
  • The viewpoint after you cross back over the bridge is the best. Gives a nice overview
  • Tehlikeli kpr...
  • Panorama mozzafiato, non ho percorso il ponte per paura e comunque si paga un biglietto di 8 pound
  • A must see, but not a good idea if you are afraid of heights
  • Weather closed the bridge - even though it was clear and sunny when we got there. Just too windy...
  • Um dos lugares mais bonitos que j conheci. Realmente maravilhosa a paisagem.
  • If you don't like heights and can't swim, maybe pass on this one. There's also a small fee to cross the bridge.
  • Arrive early to get a slot to cross the bridge, if you arrive later in the afternoon you may have to wait upto 2 hours.
  • The view here is breathtaking, sometimes literally if the wings are high. The bridge itself is much tamer than appears. There are seabirds nesting in the cliffs and the colors are out-of-this-world!
  • Closed in the morning due to high winds, but luckily open late afternoon when we stopped by again. A decent walk with our 5 and 3 year olds, quite a few steps, but definitely worth it.
  • National Trust members get discount.
