Tips

  • You will be sad if you come here for the food or the service. Maybe just get a drink so you can watch the turtles.
  • Great food and a turtle garden in the middle... you might get lucky and witness a turtle fight over lunch. We did!
  • Sit by the courtyard and watch some turtles.
  • Awesome service
  • Breakfast is great, down home tastes. Shrimp Po' Boy is excellent and the seafood platter had too much to finish. It was worth the walk and few dollars versus the free food from a box at the Hotel.
  • Food is awesome and inexpensive. So glad we found this gem.
  • Shrimp Poboy!
  • Amazing fried oyster and shrimp po'boys, and super nice peeps
  • Good breakfast. Nothing fancy just good, home-style food.
  • Crab poboy!!!
  • Great place for an authentic southern breakfast for less than $10.
  • Delicious biscuits that are freshly made each day.
  • Great diner style cup of coffee
  • The smoked sausage is delicious
  • Great breakfast spot. Get the eggs, grits and biscuit combo
  • Great place to get a good meal If you don't want to be sucked into touristy prices or atmosphere. You jut want to eat, enjoy your meal and still have money to spend on Bourbon street!
