  • Check out this one-of-a-kind museum full of well-preserved treasures from a cargo steamboat that sank in 1856 just north of Kansas City.
  • Don't let tacky gift shop & food court put you off. it's worth every nickel of admission. Tour guide was superb and take time to listen to the preservation specialist. Fascinating!!!!
  • it has been 15+ years since I have been here. Definitely visit if you have not attended for a while. The walking tour, which I did not recall from the past, and the displays are top-rate.
  • Museum Hours M-Sat: 10-3pm (4pm in Summer) Sunday: 12-3pm
