Tips

  • Top tip. Head right on up to the top floor for gorgeous balcony views and lots of tables for freelancer types.
  • Londons only post-war Grade I listed building was opened in 1951 for the Festival of Britain. The hall officially reopened after its renovation in 2007 with a performance by rock legends Motorhead.
  • Excellent place with fantastic river view to study or work
  • Here you will find the London Philharmonic Orchestra and Philharmonia Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment and London Sinfonietta, as well as hundreds of others! Never a dull moment!
  • Home to the Ether and Meltdown festivals, as well as being a fairly spacious place to grab a beer and talk loudly whilst people try to work.
  • Wifi has improved - great place to hold impromptu meetings, with views of the river.
  • There is free wifi here. not many power sockets, but a good place to check email etc.
  • One of the most incredible venues ever. Make sure to book a table at Skylon for a dinner with a view.
  • Everyone's welcome to help design and build this space for artists and participants to relax in during summer 2012's Festival of the World - like an Olympic Village for those involved in the festival!
  • The 1960 Eurovision Song Contest was held here, touch the walls and get connected to the Eurovision history. Then take a photo and share the experience!
  • The farmers Market is now on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. So much to try out. Yum
  • Take the JCB lift (the glass one near the shop). It will change how you think of lift music forever!
  • Fantastic venue for live performances by some of the world's most celebrated musicians.
  • No cash? No worries. No minimum spend on card at the bar.
  • Nice views over the Thames.
  • One of my favourite concert venues. And there's free wifi for those who come here during the day.
  • Free wifi, comfortable sofas and a nice play to take a rest and wait for a free jazz concert!
  • The cafeteria sells gluten free cakes and snacks.
  • Simply the best most welcoming concert hall/public indoor space I know of anywhere!
  • Buzzing in the summer with the outside bar. If you're here for a show, make sure you read the ticket correctly
