  • Clientle seem to get progressively old and less trendy the further to the north of this long pub you get. Not sure why. It's like human chromatography.
  • The bottle selection has recently been curated to highlight the local London brewing scene. Look out for bottles from Pressure Drop, Partizan, Kernel, Weird Beard and us, of course.
  • Ask for yorkie with your roast chicken
  • Comedy gigs here every last Thursday of the month
  • The kitchen is currently run by Capish Italian-American Street Food on Mondays through Saturdays. It's delicious.
  • Sister bar of the Mason & Taylor on Bethnal Green Rd
  • awesome little boozer off the beaten track and away from the trendies. But trendy in itself. food looked good. Friendly staff. pingpong table and outside drinking :)
  • Nice little boozer with big bar selection. Currently hosting Sub Cult sandwiches. Yum.
  • Nice pub, great beer (expect at least 5 different craft beers) & no telly
  • Tasty food: especially the wonky chips
  • Ace free horror film club called Howling at the Moon every other Monday ;-)
  • Good option if you want to avoid the taxidermy of the Hunter S.
  • Great local and really friendly staff!
  • Great pizzas. 2-4-1 on Mondays

  • Am a fan. Decent food.

  • The atmosphere is good also a good selection of beers,wines and spirits.
