  • Best overall indie shop left in Manhattan.
  • Decent record shop. Its strength is in punk/metal, but carries most genres. Hosts shows occasionally (!!) and even sells shirts. Prices are pretty decent. Staff is low-key but knowledgable.

  • Not as great a selection as its fame suggested. Few LPs, lots of CDs you can get anywhere else and... Nothing from Sonic Youth?! Really? We're in NYC!
