Any Foodies Interested In A Korean Food Demonstration With Marja Vongerichten??
Hi Foodies,
I just wanted to give a heads up to anybody curious about learning how to prepare and cook Korean food or interested in Korean cuisine in general. I am an intern at The Korea Society (non-profit, private organization), and we are launching a special event next week with Marja Vongerichten, wife of Jean-Georges Vongerichten, entitled "A Taste of The Kimchi Chronicles: Korean Cooking for an American Kitchen."
In brief Marja hosted a Korean Foodie/Travel show called "The Kimchi Chronicles" that aired on PBS nationwide, and she will be releasing her own Korean food cookbook based on her travels in early August. This special event will take place at Astor Center Thurs August 4th, and Marja will be there for author-talks, demonstrations, and yes preparing the food for our guests to sample!
