Tips

  • Tony Bourdain sampled the Oysters Rockefeller, a dish invented at Antoine's, which is the oldest operating restaurant in the United States.
  • Avoid going here. While the food may be good, the service is awful; not even close to what it used to be. Just go to Commander's Palace instead.
  • Stay away!
  • Cold food. Not great service
  • We love peering into Antoines wine cavern through its rear window (between 519 and 521 Royal Street).

  • Great food. Decent service. Ran out of bread at 8:30pm on a Monday night. You have to get the Baked Alaska. Make sure you let them know how many people are eating it because they adjust the portions.
