Tips

  • try the red, or the white
  • Favorite bar in SF, love the Euro feel and clientele. Goat cheese ball is delicious.
  • You can find flights listed on the back page of the menu.
  • Go-to happy hour and date night spot. Solid selection of wine and the staff is super friendly.
  • Cougars...grrrrow
  • Check out Amelie in Nob Hill after work for a $20 platter of cheese (3 kinds) meat (5 kinds) and baguette (oh yes). Oh, and you can get a "customized" flight of wine for $10, too.
  • Must do the $10 Happy Hour flights and get the goat cheese ball with caramelized onions and crab salad. Don't forget to check out the French eye candy ;)
  • Check out the menus - they attach the pages to LPs. Ask for the Jermaine Jackson album.
  • What a fun little lovely find! $10 wine flight tasting! Escargot was delicious, pate was great too. Since the kitchen was closing we didn't know what to order so rushed and ordered pizza which was ok
  • Should you consider this place "European", that would only prove your typical "American" point of view. Nice wine bar, nonetheless.
  • The German and Austrian wine flight was sweet and delicious!
  • Pistachio honey goat cheese is to die for
  • We like this place for a romantic rendez-vous in the cozy booths. Besides, who can resist a glass of Bordeaux?
  • cute wine bar - but I found the wine (and the bar) to be terribly warm. Seems like it be better for a happy hour type place.
  • By far..the best spot on Polk!
  • I love Amelie. A neighborhood favorite. Amazing selection of wine, staff is friendly & cute bartenders.
  • Loud. Diner vibe, including vinyl booths
  • crab tartine is good. so is burrata tomato salad
  • Fun wine bar with Danielle and Kimberly. HUGE glasses of wine, amazing happy hour (5-7) and sweetest French host
  • A great place in the TL for a glass of wine and delicious food.
