Foursquare Tips

  • Safely swim in these waterfalls.
  • Go for a swim! So worth it!
  • Heed all signs and warning about flash floods and climbing around rocks. People die from being stupid.
  • Pools are GREAT, across the road is a GREAT trail to killer high falls
  • Ask if the seven sacred pools are fully visible. Second time I went they are blocked off for reconstruction. Try to make time to do the full hike.
  • There's a lot of people at the first few pools. The higher you go the less crowded!
  • The seven pools are HERE?!?
  • Better view of ocean than the pools.
  • My favorite place on Maui!
  • Definitely worth the long drive to visit here.
  • Beautiful pools that you have to check out if you're in the Hana area. Cliff dive too if you're adventurous!
  • Consider aqua sox to hike up higher. Beautiful, perfectly crystal pools. Not to be missed.
  • Come here EARLY to avoid the tour buses. You may just have the place to yourself for a few hours ...
  • We drove out here but it was too wet and cold to go in.
  • Oheo Gulch, a part of Haleakala National Park, features 7 pools, of which most are secluded 2 miles upland. When hiking in, be certain to do a safety check on weather and stream conditions of the day.
  • Short hike with nice views!
  • A must see before Trump completely cut all national park funding... Pipiwa Falls is the real goal however!
