Foursquare Tips

  • be careful downstairs. it seems like a scene out of the godfather.
  • Great authentic pasta carbonara. No cream in the recipe. Yes! :)
  • Ask for either the summer or winter truffle dish, depending on the season. Good lord, so incredible.
  • The Vermentino wine pairs perfectly with Crude di Zucchine. The salad achieves a light but satisfying taste. The lemon and mint balance out the heavier flavors of the squash, cheese, and fried almonds
  • The tiramisu here is scrumptious!
  • Pastas were the real standout, particularly the housemade trenette w/Sicilian pesto: long noodles generously coated in a sauce of equal parts basil & tomato & studded w/coarsely chopped almonds.
  • I love this place. Food is amazing. Drinks are amazing. service is stellar.
  • As an Italian, i can assure this place is really an italian restaurant. Carbonara is great!
  • Love both dining rooms, but prefer upstairs. Food is *meh*, but the waiters are dapper.
  • Awesome downstair cellar seating: request it if possible. The food is great quality, using authentic Italian ingredients (like Parmesan and Balsamic from Emilia Romagna).
  • You should try gnocchi (Special one)
  • Get the carbonara. Spaghetti, organic eggs, savory guanciale (cured pork), with a kick of black pepper and Pecorino Romano.
  • Super sweet staff, carbonara is delicious!
  • History is a good thing when you can see it .
  • Delicious, well-executed italian dishes with an amazing selection of wines and a friendly, helpful staff to boot!
  • The best gnocchi I've ever had! Do yourself a favor and order it.
  • Really, really good pasta! Small restaurant.
  • Dinner with Richard & Laurie
  • This place was unique. The downstairs was very hot. You have to ask for ice with water. Service picked up once we had to have a word with waiter and was successful. Flat bread amazing.
