5 Healthy & Easy Dinner Options
From cupcakescocktailsandkids.com, by Michelle Lara

We’re nearly 3 months into the New Year and I’m proud to say I’ve made some serious changes with my eating habits. If you follow me on Instagram you’ll quickly see I’m definitely not denying myself anything, the biggest change for me has been with portion control and and not eating past a certain time.

I pay special attention to what we have for dinner – spending an hour or two during the weekend to plan ahead and prep has made preparing healthier meals for dinner easier.

I’ve been drinking more water and while I haven’t made it to the gym nearly as much as I hoped {OK I haven’t been at all} but I’ve been walking more. I also limited my use of sugar – subbing agave when I can and switching to natural organic sugar

Spiralized Pesto Squash_MichelleLara650

I’m fully on board with the ‘sprializer’ trend. When Robyn Lindars of GrillGirl.com sent me one I was hesitant at first but this has quickly become my go-to gadget. This is the first dish I created which is quick, tasty and incredibly filling and it’s featured on GrillGirl.com!

Pizza is a weekly must-have at our house and I’m loving this gourmet take on it, plus the crust is made of cauliflower crust which means means this is a great carb-free option.

Grilled-Mediterranean-Chicken_MichelleLara_950

I love Mediterranean food – it’s light yet flavorful and easy to make. I marinate this overnight for extra flavor and it grills up quick. Pair this with some Naan bread and Tzatziki sauce – head to GrillGirl.com where my recipe is being featured!
