Patterson, NY 12563
Approximately one-hour from New York City, Thunder Ridge Ski Resort offers several pros: good snow (real and homemade), pleasant staff, reasonably priced and efficiently-run ski school for children, easy slopes for kids and babysitting is only $8 per hour per hour. Lift tickets are $50 per adult for a day; $37 for a child on the weekend; $40 per adult and $30 per child weekdays. Several hotels offer overnight ski and stay packages, including the The Pawling House Bed & Breakfast, Hilton Garden Inn, Maron Hotel, and Holiday Inn Danbury-Bethel.
Mohawk Mountain Ski Area
