The Joule Hotel — Dallas, Texas

You only need to see this glass-fronted pool to know it’s one of the best. It was designed by Adam D. Tihany and is half extended past the hotel’s structure, so you feel like you’re swimming among the clouds.

Grand Wailea's pool features a water slide, rapids, caves, a water elevator and rope swing at its 5,700-square-foot complex. Pretty fantastic, if you ask us. Plus there are 10 connecting pools, so you really have no reason to not go bathing suit shopping before your trip.

Raleigh Hotel's iconic pool has starred in television, Esther Williams’ films and in a number of magazine spreads. From up above, you will notice it also has a unique shape, which is part of its appeal. It’s also the location for many swanky Miami Beach parties.

Andaz — San Diego, California

There is no shortage of sunny days in San Diego, and the Andaz’s rooftop pool takes advantage of the city’s great weather. From up above, you’ll get panoramic views of SD and at night, the pool area transforms into a trendy cocktail lounge. There are also fire pits in case it gets a little chilly.

The hotel has seven pools and the King’s Pond is a fresh ocean water one that is home to 3,500 tropical fish.
