Foursquare Tips

  • get the soba noodles with uni (sea urchin)only thing is it takes a while to make them so order them as soon as you get there
  • Great sushi, great service, yada yada yada, but the best part is the Very Handsome Asian Man who will explain your alcohol choices in great detail
  • This modern impasse restaurant offers creative presentation with traditional sensibilities. Impeccably fresh fish is the star here. -Kevin Gillespie, Top Chef
  • Bring a date and get the sashimi omakase each, then split a tuna flight, a bowl of housemade soba noodles and the kabocha creme caramel
  • Try the chu-toro. Thank us later.
  • Sit at the sushi bar and order the omikase.
  • Take an uni journey here: 3 kinds of uni flight, uni risotto, and soba topped with uni.
  • Tuna and sea urchin flight- yessss
  • A great place to order the omakase while sitting at the sushi bar to get a little bit of everything. It's not cheap, but it's well worth it.
  • The chu-toro is amazing. Melts in your mouth!
  • Possibly the best Sushi I've had in #NYC
  • omakase is amazing
  • Over priced and over rated. Save your money.
  • The rudest waiter I've ever met.
  • Good sushi, but vastly overpriced for what it is and a general air of snooty pretentious attitude to boot.
  • Amazing sushi - some of the best in NYC. Also try the hot soba. Love the duck soba.
  • Buy Masa a beer when at the bar.
  • At 15 East, the sushi is as clean-cut as the sleek, white interior. Try the omakase (Ill leave it to you), for ten pieces of chef-selected sashimi. Tuna fiends can delight in a flight.
  • 7 course tasting menu. Subbed the salmon for the lobster uni risotto. Life changing.
  • Do the omokase if possible. Also they have great yellowtail sashimi plate. Surprise dish: lobster uni risotto - must try. SO buttery and creamy and the uni really shined through.
