Foursquare Tips

  • Orgasmic organic Italian wines!!!
  • A simple chic bar by Giorgio De Maria (Gourmet Traveller 2012 Sommelier of the Year). Organic wines are the forte of 121BC, best accompanied by the morish bread with anchovy butter.
  • Fantastic wines here and the staff are attentive and knowledgeable. Very reasonable glass prices as well.
  • Try the Pannell Nebbiolo. As good as many Italians. Wow.
  • ask about the digestifs
  • amazing Italian wines and nibbles.
  • Perfect place to spend an evening! Beautiful selection of Italian wines, great food and really cool atmosphere.
  • really good Italian wines
  • Fantastic wine selection, awesome vibe. We didn't eat here but our friendly neighbour at the bar recommended the gnocchi.
  • Dark but lack of the atmosphere.
  • They really know their wine here. Let them choose for you! The waiter came and determined what we'd been drinking just by sniffing the glass. That's all class.
  • The wine selection is overwhelming. The food is OK. The dining experience was a downer. There's one big table that everyone sits at and the room itself is quite cramped. You have to yell to be heard.
  • Gnocchi was delicious as were the pork ribs
  • Delicious and unusual wines, great staff, yummy food, intimate atmosphere. This place was perfect for our first date.
  • Good Italian wine and reasonable price as well!
  • Fantastic Italian wine bar. They wine by the glass from every region of Italy and it changes monthly. Over 300 bottled wines and their tapas-like food menu changes regularly.
  • People who love Italian wine in an intimate setting make their way to this tiny spot. The ever-changing wine list covers each of Italys 20 grape-growing regions.
  • The calamari is delish
  • Free monthly wine tasting! Get on their newsletter so you get reminders. Great selection of Italian wine, always finding my new favourites here.
  • Very small with a nice wine list and simple food. Experience depends on where you get seated and make sure you get here early for a seat. Not a place for large groups.
