A-Z Food Tries Goat Stomach, Nigerian Cuisine

About A-Z Food: In this video series, Alastair Humphreys and Tom Kevill-Davies eat around London to find one restaurant from a nation for each letter of the alphabet. Check out A-Z Food: Mexico here.

Our London eaters started A-Z Food to explore corners of London unknown and try a variety of cuisines from around the world, so it makes sense that eventually, Humphreys and Kevill-Davies would stumble across something they do not like. And it just so happened to be Nigerian cuisine.

Heading over to the restaurant 805 on Old Kent Road, the two test their taste buds with boiled cows feet, golden fried plantains, tiger prawns, croaker fish, and goat stomach lining. While the plantains and prawns got some positive reviews, the rest didn't fare as well, especially when it came to edikangkong, a stew of boiled goats stomach and okra. Read the full review here, as Humphreys and Kevill-Davies power through a chewy and slimy meal in the name of adventure.
