Squid Ink — Washington, D.C.

In 2012 a handful of successful D.C. chefs were challenged to come up with some unique, limited-edition pies: Nicholas Stefanelli, the executive chef of Bibiana, brought his A-game when he created a squid ink pizza complete with octopus, salami, oregano, and red chilies. While only available during the promotional period, the pizza was apparently quite good and didn’t  taste at all like a cheesy ink blot.
