Champagne-Soaked Caviar and Gold Flakes — Rome

The Pizza Royale 007 is officially the world’s most expensive pizza, and one of the most bizarre. Last year, the masterpiece was created by Domenico Crolla, a Scots-born Italian who runs the award-winning Bella Napoli, and sold on eBay for $4,200 to benefit the Fred Hollows Foundation. The 12-inch creation included toppings like caviar soaked in Dom Perignon champagne, Scottish smoked salmon, lobster marinated in cognac, venison medallions, the finest prosciutto, and vintage balsamic vinegar. Above everything else, it comes with a significant amount of edible 24-carat gold flakes as topping.
