World's Most Expensive Margarita Priced At $1200 At 230 FIFTH

Sipping on a world record cocktail while giving back to your favorite charity? If only you could afford it!

Manhattan's 230 FIFTH Rooftop Bar & Penthouse Lounge launched its $1,200 Frozen Fifth Avenue cocktail, the world's most expensive margarita. The high cost comes from high-end ingredients like the $1,800-a-bottle 1800 Coleccion Extra Anejo Tequila 2010 Limited Release, $800 quintessence Grand Marnier, and ice made from $450 bottles of Lois Roederer Cristal Champagne. Of the $1,200 price tag, $600 goes to a charity of the drinker's choice. Consumers can sip on the world's priciest margarita while taking in the 360 degree views of the Manhattan skyline and also get to keep the $125 Ralph Lauren hand-blown Hungarian crystal glass in which the margarita is served.

Sal Rozenberg, 230 FIFTH's director, had reasoning behind the cocktail. "We thought let's give people an opportunity to party with a purpose by offering a way to donate to charity, while having the truly unique experience of drinking a record-setting cocktail made with two of the world's rarest spirits," says Rozenberg in a press release.

If you wish to indulge in this cocktail, stop by 230 FIFTH (which is open every night until 4 a.m.) for a rewarding night out.
