Win A $100,000 Trip Of A Lifetime

To coincide with its television special Trip of a Lifetime, a one-hour special airing at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27 featuring Travel Channel stars like Adam Richman, the television network is giving away a $100,000 "Trip of a Lifetime."

The Trip of a Lifetime show is hosted by Travel Channel's Samantha Brown, who travels with Richman of Man v. Food, comedian Bert Kreischer, and Anthony Melchiorri of Hotel Impossible on an extravagant, two-week trip along the Adriatic Sea. In addition to showcasing Croatia, Italy, and islands in the Adriatic Sea, the aim of the show is to inspire its audience to plan their own trips of a lifetime.

During a stay in Venice, Brown bunks at the Hotel Cipriani and at the Hotel Danieli and meets chef Gian Nicola Colucci, who prepares a Mediterranean feast for her at the hotel's Terraza Danieli. Brown also chats with chef Mauro Lorenzon at Enoiteca Mascareta and stops at Harry's Bar during her whirlwind tour of the city of canals.

Working her way along the Italian coast, Brown stops at Hotel Fortino Napoleonico, a former Napoleonic Fort-cum-historic hotel, and she feasts on seafood prepared by chef Paolo Antinori at Sala Del Camino at Hotel Fortino Napoleonico Restaurant. She also visits Frantoio Di Croci, an olive oil mill overlooking Tuscany, and Villa Sandi, a family-run vineyard and winery along Prosecco Road.

When the group heads to Croatia, they are treated to a seafood meal at Konoba Batelina, a hidden tavern in Pula, a stay at the Hotel Monte Mulini in Rovinj, and a multi-course dinner at chef Tom Gretic's Wine Vault Restaurant in Rovinj.

Melchiorri stays at the Hotel Excelsior in Dubrovnik and dines at the hotel's Abakus Piano Bar and Restaurant, while Richman gets a taste of wind-cured prosciutto from a local butcher at Istriam Prosciutto Shop in Rovinj.

The online Trip of a Lifetime Sweepstakes begins Jan. 27, 2013 and ends Mar. 24, 2013. The winning travelers (up to four family or friends) can plan their own dream itinerary, using the show as an inspiration, to create a bespoke vacation valued at $100,000.
