The top restaurants and chefs in Ventura County, Calif., are having a cook-off to determine who makes the yummiest food at the Yummies competition June 3. The culinary contest is part of the 19th annual Casa Pacifica Angels Wine & Food Festival at California State University's Channel Islands campus in Camarillo, Calif.

A panel of celebrity judges, including Top Chef season five and season eight participant Fabio Viviani and MasterChef season two runner-up Adrien Nieto, will judge each chef’s dish and determine which is the yummiest, based on flavor, presentation, innovation, and quality.

More than 30 restaurants are competing in the Yummies competition, including Frost It Cupcakery, Watermark, and Zoey’s Café.

The Casa Pacific Angel’s Wine & Food Festival showcases restaurants, caterers, bakeries, and specialty shops from Santa Barbara to Conejo Valley, and wineries throughout California's wine-producing regions.

All-inclusive tickets for the Casa Pacifica Angel’s Wine & Food Festival are $100. Event proceeds go to Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families, a crisis-care and residential treatment facility for abused, neglected, or at-risk children in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
