Where The Stars Are Partying During The Cannes Film Festival

In its 65th year, the Cannes Film Festival continues to host many exclusive parties despite the unseasonably bad weather currently hitting the South of France. Here are some highlights:

Thursday
Moonrise Kingdom After-Party: Carlton Beach Club – Invited guests, such as Bruce Willis and Kara Hayward, grabbed a specialty cocktail or illuminated red glass of champagne from any of the venues' 5 bars.

Soiree Canal Plus: Le Suquet – Partygoers headed to the oldest church in Cannes by train, where a panoramic view and gourmet menu awaited them. This annual bash featured risotto with truffles, ratatouille-filled pastries, fresh fruit sabayon, and champagne..

Women in Film Party: Villa St. Georges – Partygoers were shuttled by buses from the Carlton Hotel to this private home nestled in the hills outside of Cannes. Host Calvin Klein provided his guests with champagne flutes and plates of hors d'oeuvres, as he honored Naomi Watts, Diane Kruger, Jessica Chastain, Ludivine Sagnier, and Shailene Woodley.

Saturday
Haiti: Carnival in Cannes: The Agora Pavilion – Those willing to pay $7,500 joined Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson, Chris Dodd, and Harvey Weinstein in supporting three organizations – Sean Penn's J/P Haiti Relief Organization, Petra Nemcova's Happy Hearts Fund, and Paul Haggis's Artists for Peace and Justice. Those who were lucky caught a whiff of host Giorgio Armani's signature scent, as Sean Penn ran around spritzing random male partygoers.

Monday
Mystery Party: Villa Domergue – Alec Baldwin, Sean "Diddy" Combs, and other guests were kept in the dark about the important details of Chopard and Harvey Weinstein's soiree. Even the location of the party remained a mystery to those who were invited; partygoers received ferry rides and cryptic directions to help guide them to the secret destination.

Coming Up
May 23rd: Nights of Monaco Benefit: Hotel de Paris in Monaco – With Diane Kruger and Eva Longoria on the confirmed RSVP list, and Bill Clinton and Prince Albert II flying in to host, this benefit is sure to be star-studded.
