What We're Loving: Judith Leiber's Macaron Pill Boxes

Every now and then we like to indulge in some outrageous sweet confections. One of our favorites these days is the delicious up-and-comer, the macaron.

We are tremendous fans of the colorful sandwich cookies, both those born on the streets of Paris and those found here in Manhattan. But something we're also loving? The fake kind, aka macaron accessories. Last month we talked about Two's Company's macaron pill box created from a gorgeous pastel palette. This month, we're taking it to another level with Judith Leiber's bedazzled pill box.

At the steep, but worth-it price of $495, it makes for a fantastic gift or just a great treat for yourself. Store pills, memories and yes, treasures in the crystal-clad carriers. Made in — gasp! — 11 "flavors" including crème brûlée, champagne, green tea, violet, and plum, they're a treasure themselves.
